This project required me to study the extract                               from Italo Calvino's work, 'Invisible Cities'. This was the basis of my project, pulling out six concepts from the text and using these as a narrative to create a conceptual alteration to a given site, modelling and evolving ideas throughout. 

Of the six words I slimmed it down to three; Ladders, Support and Woodland. I began to build concept models which would help the design process and overall construction of my building. 

Using the three concept models, I was able to construct a 1:20 model based on the design ideas of each word. 

For the 2.2 part of this project I had to create a hand-drawn 1:50 section

of my design.
